The NSW Police and the Department of Justice are working together to make the justice system better for people with disability.

To understand people’s experience, both organisations will be talking to the community about their experiences in the justice system, and how to make sure that all people with disability get a fair outcome.

Those in NSW are invited to a workshop to talk about your experience with the criminal justice system, including people who have been victims of crime, witnesses, people who have been through the justice system as an offender, or anybody interested in having their say about these issues.

Organisers want to hear about the things that have worked well, not so well, and your ideas about what is needed to make things better.

There will be a workshop for people who have a mental health condition, or psychosocial disability on Tuesday 23rd May. Morning tea will be provided, and workshop attendees will be provided with a giftcard.

Places are limited so please RSVP.
