October is Mental Health Awareness month so in partnership with Wayahead Mental Health NSW, The Happy Hens are hosting a fun, family friendly event at Bedlam Bay Oval in The Old Gladesville Hospital, Campbell Drive, Gladesville.

Live music will be provided all day, including Monica Trapaga and Big Band, food, art and craft sessions, yoga, massage, gardening, cooking - paddock to plate and sport oriented “rides” will also be available, with more to come.

Mental health providers such as Lifeline and Kids Helpline will supply information and expert discussion throughout the day.

This is an effort to de-stigmatise mental health issues.
