People with a lived experience of mental health issues, suicide attempts and bereavement by suicide; carers and families; service providers and community members are invited to have their say on the development of the Central and Eastern Sydney Regional Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan (the Regional Plan).
The Regional Plan will be an agreement about what is needed, by when, how and who will be responsible for making the change happen. The Regional Plan will have a 3-year focus (2019-2021) and will help to ensure that resources are targeted to best respond to local mental health and suicide prevention issues.
The Steering Committee responsible for the Regional Plan are hosting consultation workshops across the region between 27-29 November 2018. The sessions are open to everyone. The feedback from people participating in these workshops will directly inform the actions included in the Regional Plan. These consultations are essential to developing a Regional Plan that accurately captures the priorities of the community.
If you are unable to attend the consultations, but would still like to be involved, please leave your details on the registration page and CESPHN will keep you up to date about other consultation opportunities.
Learn more about the consultations on CESPHN's website.
