Suicide Prevention Australia (SPA) and the Mental Health Coordinating Council (MHCC) invite you to contribute to a consultation on a strategic framework for suicide prevention.

In 2017, SPA initiated discussions on a 2025 framework for suicide prevention to build on the Federal Government's commitment to develop a national suicide prevention plan (draft 5th Mental Health Plan, 2016). The strategic framework is an opportunity for the NGO community voice to contribute to the development of the Government plan.Your voice will join SPA members, representatives of the Lived Experience Network, and representatives from local Primary Health Networks in a national community consultation. The consultation session will begin with a short briefing on the Lived Experience Network from SPA’s Lived Experience Manager Tracey McCown.
