International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations sanctioned day that aims to promote an understanding of people with disability and encourage support for their dignity, rights and well-being.

A related awareness campaign - Don't DIS my ABILITY - celebrates the diversity and ability of people with disability, and it's for everyone. The campaign begins on 5 November and will run right up until International Day of People with Disability on 3 December.

The focus this year is on making a conscious effort every day to build inclusive communities. Choose to be part of the conversation.
