A new suite of resources aims to help organisations and businesses understand what wellbeing means, why it is important, and what they can do to build wellbeing in NSW.
Created by the NSW Wellbeing Collaborative with the support of the NSW Mental Health Commission, the Wellbeing Series includes three publications:
- ‘Wellbeing language and definitions guide’, which draws on the scientific literature and everyday language to explain key wellbeing terms and concepts
- ‘A case for change’, which lays out the business case for a stronger focus on wellbeing outcomes and drivers
- ‘Principles for action’, which provides a set of principles to promote collaboration, innovation and action on wellbeing.
The series was developed in response to Living Well: A Strategic Plan for Mental Health in NSW 2014-2024, which calls for communities, organisations and governments to focus on building wellbeing and resilience.
The Wellbeing Series and other resources about wellbeing are freely accessible via the Wellbeing Collaborative website.
