The reforms contained in Living Well are aimed at reorienting the mental health system towards community support and recovery, and away from crisis-driven care.

This radical shift will allow our system to emphasise the promotion of wellbeing for everyone, the prevention of mental illness and the earliest possible intervention in the community when people do become unwell.
